murray's MODULE - poppleswick

This is Murray’s first foray into modelling.  The module is of a village through station with a small goods yard.

The track and turnouts are Peco and glued onto cork.

Turnouts are powered by SEEP motors with built in switch for frog power.

The buildings are Metcalfe card construction kits with the station steps and end loading dock made up from spare Metcalfe card. The footbridge is a Ratio kit.

Animals, people and items in the yard are from Modelscene, Faller, Noch and Langley.  The coal staithes are scratch built.

The landscaping is of various makes of scatter and ballast.

The module is wired for both DC and DCC operation with local turnout control.
